Our Inspiration
How appropriate is the Word of God when we seek education for our
children. In the process of teaching children to seek Him first, we truly
prepare them for life. We lead them toward salvation; train them in Godly
character; equip them with excellent academic and leadership skills;
kindle in them the desire to pursue truth and knowledge; and, we follow
the last instructions Jesus gave, "...go and make disciples of all
nations." Matthew 28:19
Our Mission Statement
Cathedral Christian Academy exists as a ministry of Cathedral Christian
Center to partner with parents in providing a Christ-centered, Biblically
based Christian education.
Our Vision
It is the goal of Cathedral Christian Academy to:
Our Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, the Father, and in:
- His conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth
- His sinless life
- His miracles
- His crucifixion, death, burial and bodily resurrection
- His atonement for our sins through His shed blood
- His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for us today
- His personal and imminent return in power and glory
- We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful man is found in no one else except Jesus Christ, and that there is no other name given under heaven through which there is salvation for eternal life.
- We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for forgiveness of sin.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bible classes at Cathedral Christian Academy are taught on the basis of our belief in the statements above. When issues arise involving differences between denominational beliefs of various churches, students are referred back to parents and/or pastors of the local church they attend.
